1. Who I am

This website is operated by Jay V Flyy (Safak Ünal, Perfect Promotion), based in Zurich, Switzerland. For questions about data protection, you can reach me at hello@jayvflyy.com.

2. What data is collected

When you send a request via the booking form on this website, the following personal data is collected:

• Your name
• Your email address
• Your phone number (if provided)
• Type of event, date and location (if provided)
• The content of your message

If you consent to statistics cookies, anonymised usage data is also collected. Standard server log data (IP address, browser type, pages visited) is recorded automatically by the hosting provider.

3. What the data is used for

Your personal data is used exclusively for the following purposes:

• To answer your booking or collaboration request
• To communicate with you about possible events or projects
• To keep business enquiries on file based on legitimate interests
• To understand how visitors use the website and to improve it (only with consent)

Your data is never sold, rented or passed on to third parties. There is no automated decision-making or profiling.

4. Cookies

The following types of cookies and similar technologies are used:

• Necessary: Required for the website to work and cannot be disabled. This includes your cookie choice, which is stored in your browser’s local storage.
• Statistics: Helps to understand how visitors use the website and how fast it loads, using Vercel Analytics and Vercel Speed Insights. Only loaded after your explicit consent.
• External media: Embedded players from Spotify, SoundCloud and YouTube in news posts. They only load once you agree – here, in the cookie banner or directly at the player (“Load player” applies to that one player only). When loaded, the providers may set their own cookies (see section 6).

You can give or withdraw your consent here at any time. A withdrawal takes effect immediately.

5. Legal basis

Your personal data is processed under the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (revFADP) and – where applicable – the GDPR on the following grounds:

• Consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR) – for statistics (Vercel Analytics, Speed Insights) and external media (Spotify, SoundCloud, YouTube)
• Legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) – for server logs and website security
• Pre-contractual steps and performance of a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) – for handling booking and collaboration requests

6. Storage & third-party providers

Requests from the booking form are transmitted encrypted (HTTPS) and stored in the content management system Sanity, which only I have access to. No other visitor data is stored in Sanity.

The website is hosted by Vercel. As part of its infrastructure, Vercel may process technical data such as IP addresses.

Embedded players: News posts may contain players from Spotify, SoundCloud and YouTube (Google). Until you agree, only a preview is shown and no connection to the provider is made. Only when you load the player or allow “External media” does your browser connect to the provider. In particular, your IP address, browser and device information and the page visited may be transferred, and cookies or similar technologies may be set – including outside Switzerland and the EU, e.g. in the USA. YouTube videos are embedded in privacy-enhanced mode (youtube-nocookie.com). You can withdraw your consent at any time in section 4.

No advertising cookies and no tracking for advertising purposes are used. Otherwise, releases and DJ sets are only linked: only when you click a link are you taken to the respective platform (e.g. Spotify, SoundCloud, Mixcloud), where its privacy policy applies. Paid partner links in posts are marked as “Ad”.

For details on how data is processed, please refer to the privacy policies of the respective providers.

7. Retention period

Your personal data is only kept for as long as needed to answer your request, and for a maximum of 3 years for business records. After that it is deleted. Your cookie choice remains stored in your browser until you clear your browser data.

8. Your rights

Under the revFADP and the GDPR, you have the following rights regarding your personal data:

• Access – you can request a copy of your data
• Rectification – you can have incorrect data corrected
• Erasure – you can request that your data be deleted
• Restriction – you can have the processing of your data restricted
• Data portability – you can request your data in a common format
• Objection – you can object to processing based on legitimate interests
• Withdrawal – you can withdraw your cookie consent at any time in section 4

9. Transfers abroad

Some service providers may process data outside Switzerland or the European Economic Area (EEA). In this case, appropriate safeguards are ensured. More on this in the privacy policies of the providers listed in section 6.

10. Children

This website is not directed at children under 16. No data from children is knowingly collected. If you believe this has happened by mistake, please contact me immediately at hello@jayvflyy.com.

11. Changes

This privacy policy may be updated from time to time. Changes will be published on this page with an updated date.
